Position Summary Illumina is in search of a Staff Business Systems Analyst to act as a Solution Architect during system design, build and overall delivery of end-end SAP Transportation Management System Implementation, Enhancements and Digital Transformation initiatives. San Diego, CA is ideal as we offer relocation assistance for this role, however remote U.S. is possible for an exceptional candidate. Responsibilities Be seen as an SAP TMS expert and able to advise on standard SAP solution design and configuration for specific SAP modules and the impact of the changes on solutions and/or business process Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Solution Design Leads and Value Stream Leads process design recommendations, defining end to end processes and issue resolutions Identify and implement business process improvements. Collaborate with the global supply chain team and GIS team to evaluate support requests. Gather and analyze requirements to determine if the best solution. Provide routine updates to the global team regarding upcoming enhancements, bug fixes, and improvements to the business system to support regulatory audits, efficiency improvements, and additional functionality. Keep up to date with the latest SAP technology, especially within S/4 HANA TMS and EWM. Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Solution Design Leads and Value Stream Leads on issue resolution and process design recommendations. Lead and influence cross-functional teams to develop improved processes and communication in support of business initiatives also ability to deliver high-quality outcomes particularly under tight timelines. Escalate appropriate decisions making requirements or process "choice points" to Global Process Owner and GIS Leads. Ability to articulate or demonstrate SAP TMS solutions and deliver high-quality outcomes particularly under tight timelines. Requirements 8+ Years of SAP experience with extensive SAP TMS Implementation and solution architect roles. Experience functional lead with demonstrated capability to work cross teams. Experience in implementation of SAP TMS with various deployment options preferably TMS on S/4 HANA. Strong exposure of SAP TMS, SCT Software Carrier Integration, TMS Integration with SAP EWM, SAP GTS, SAP EHS modules. Experience in creation of Transportation Management specific Master Data i.e. Routes, Transportation network, Mode, Freight Agreement, Rate Table, Trade Compliance Check etc. Must have sound knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP TMS. Along with a strong expertise in setting up the system integration between SAP TMS with SAP EWM, ECC, GTS on S/4 HANA Proficient experience in interface development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services). Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation. Knowledge about system enhancements and configuration with IT leadership experience with SAP TMS projects. Strong influencing, facilitating and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments. Consulting background a plus. Education Bachelor's degree required preferably an applicable field of Study (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.), advanced degree preferred. #LI-HYBRID The estimated base salary range for the SAP TM Solution Architect [Remote Potential] role based in the United States of America is: $115,800 - $173,800. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
